Evelyn Olunja is a highly skilled and talented Business Development & Marketing professional. She has over 20 years’ track record of successful business management at corporate level. She is a seasoned Co-operator who for the past twelve years has steered Business Development by acting as a bridge between the members and Saccos, interacting closely with them to understand their needs so that Saccos develop products and services to satisfy the identified needs as they meet their objective of growth.

She prides herself in having set up marketing departments and grown businesses for two leading Saccos in Kenya – Mwalimu National SACCO (2009 –2014) and United Nations SACCO (2014 to 2021). Evelyn has also worked as a Marketing Officer and Regional Sales Representative at The Jomo Kenyatta Foundation, Lecturer at The Technical University of Kenya and a Mathematics Teacher in many leading Secondary Schools in Kenya.

Evelyn is a Credit Union Development Educator (ADE), a member of World Council of Credit Union’s Global Women’s Leadership Network (The Kenyan Champion), the Chairperson of the of Women in Cooperative Societies, Kenya, a Board member of the Africa Women in Cooperative Network and an alumnus of Canada’s Cooperative Development Foundation (CDF) Women’s Mentorship program.

Evelyn’s wealth of experience puts her in a position to eloquently articulate the myriad of transitional and substantive issues facing any organization. Her successful handling of organization business development portfolios together with her networks has earned her the capability to effectively articulate the challenges faced in many corporate settings.  She is adept at strategic planning and new processes during any transformation process. She has a well-rounded skill set including first-rate leadership and management skills, proven expertise in policy matters, membership growth, savings mobilization, product and business development and seeking new partnerships as a result driven professional.

Ms. Olunja who is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Business Administration at the University of Nairobi, holds of a Master of Business Administration degree from the same university and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Catholic University of Eastern Africa among other certifications. She is a member of the Board of Marketing Society of Kenya that gives direction to the marketing industry in Kenya.

In addition to spending time with family and travelling, Evelyn spends her free time mentoring Women and Youth.

Evelyn is based at the Kenya USA Diaspora Sacco office in Upper hill, Nairobi, Kenya and is instrumental in steering KUDS’ Vision having had wide working experience in the Sacco Industry.

CPA Patrick is a competent and professional accounting practitioner with wide experience in the Sacco Industry.

He has over sixteen (16) years progressive experience in the Co-operative movement having worked in customer service, credit, accounting and administration departments in different Saccos in Kenya. He prides himself in having enhanced customer service, grown membership, developed products, grown deposits and loan portfolios and implementing ERPs, as well as effectively managing credit and finance sections.

Patrick’s strengths include compiling and analyzing financial and credit information and ensuring that the financial and credit records are maintained in line with laid down policies, procedures as well as statutory and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining KUDS, Patrick was a Sacco manager (CEO) at Mount Elgon Orchards Sacco Society Limited.

Patrick who is a qualified accountant and a member of ICPAK holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Finance) from Kenya College of Accountancy University. He is instrumental in steering KUDS’ Vision having had a wide experience in overall Sacco Management.

Patrick spends his free time with the family in addition to watching, playing and managing football, and holds a volunteer position as an organizing secretary for the Wazee Premier League.

CPA Njeri Mwangi is a Finance professional with a wealth of experience in Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, Investment Management, Budgetary Control and Regulatory Reporting garnered over 13 years of work in the private sector.

Njeri who is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K), holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting and Finance) degree from Kenya Methodist University and a Master of Business Administration degree (Accounting Option) from the University of Nairobi.

She is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) and the Association of Women Accountants of Kenya (AWAK) where she volunteers in mentoring young women accountants.

She based at the Kenya USA Diaspora Sacco office in Upper hill, Nairobi, Kenya and is instrumental in steering KUDS’ Vision of growth having had wide working experience in Financial Management.

Valentine Kayesi is a dedicated, hardworking and self- motivated individual. She possesses strong administration, accounting and finance skills.

Valentine is a degree holder in Bachelors in Business Management, majored in Finance and banking from the Maasai Mara University. She is also a CPA student currently taking Part II from Kenya College of Accountancy.

She has worked with Alexander Forbes Financial services where she was equipped with strong Finance and administration skills that she is willing to bring to the Sacco so as to help the Sacco achieve its goals.

As a member of Rotary Club of Ongata Rongai, she enjoys spending time on charity events with the club and giving back to the society. She also enjoys travelling, reading inspiring books and journals and also spending time with friends and family.

Valentine is based at the Kenya USA Diaspora Sacco office in Upper hill, Nairobi, Kenya.

Sonia is a passionate focused individual with a desire to influence and impact her society positively by leading by example and setting the pace for other young people who look up to her. Her interest is in Finance, Statistics and Monitoring and Evaluation field.

She has combination of great communication, administrative and analytical skills that have seen her work with different organizations in the past. At The Young Women Christian Association of Kenya she joined as a volunteer and graduated to being a Nairobi Branch Youth representative to the National Board and later on become a junior staff member. She has also worked with Kenya Economic Youth Network (KEYNET) as a youth coordinator and at the Nairobi Java House as a waitress.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economic and Statistics from the University of Nairobi. She is also a CPA level 2 student at Strathmore University.

During her free time she enjoys writing, singing and giving back to the community through her membership at the YWCA.

Robert Muthee is young guy filled with enthusiasm, dedication and self-motivation. He holds strong communication, accounting as well as negotiation and persuasion skills.

Robert is a Bachelor’s degree holder in Business Information Technology from Meru University of Science and Technology and also a CPA part III student.

Before joining this esteemed Sacco, Robert worked as a sales person with Kieni Canola Industry. He was tasked with spearheading the introduction of a new product in the market. During his tenure with the firm he was equipped with negotiation and persuasion skills as well as effective communication.

During his free time Robert loves watching his best team play football. He is also an active footballer who loves travelling, visiting children’s homes and listening to country music.
